St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children

"A Special Place for Special Children"

Ways to Donate

You Can Help St. Mary's Children in Many Ways:

Annual Giving

As a nonprofit organization, St. Mary’s looks to the community for annual support. State and federal funding offsets part of the cost of caring for St. Mary’s residents, but private donations are essential. The Home receives contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations and also is a certified United Way Agency (Agency Code #5039; CFC #10064)

Investing in children with special needs is vital to St. Mary's. You are invited to create your own legacy through The Guardian Society. Gifts made through estate plans offer benefits to you in addition to the philanthropic satisfaction of perpetuating your support to the Home. A gift today ensures that future generations of children benefit from our care. Click here for a brief PDF document about planned giving. For more information email Martha Price Stewart, director of development, or call (757) 446-6797 or (800) 237-6555.

Memorials & Gifts of Honor

Memorials and gifts in honor are wonderful lasting tributes and are deeply appreciated by those they honor and by St. Mary’s. Your gift will be acknowledged to the appropriate recipient of your contribution.

Create a Memory

Engraved with a loved one's name, a sentiment or an expression of gratitude, a paver creates a lasting memory. Support the Home while recognizing someone special. Buy a paver for $150; each additional paver is $100. For information or to reserve a brick, email Martha Price Stewart or call (757) 446-6797 or (800) 237-6555.
